Dr. Redmond Shamshiri is an Associate Professor of Landtechnik at Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences and founder of Adaptive AgroTech, a research and consultancy company in digital agriculture. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, a PhD in Automation in Agriculture from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and an M.Sc. in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Florida. From 2018 to 2024 he was a senior researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy in Potsdam, where he worked on developing autonomous navigation and collision avoidance for electric tractors, as well as wireless monitoring and control systems in agriculture. He has authored more than 150 journal and conference papers, edited 10 books, and has been recognized among the highly cited scientists in digital agriculture.
